What is an EB-5 Visa ?

The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program is a visa category managed by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for foreign nationals who wish to permanently settle in the United States as investors (USCIS). Taking part in the EB-5 programme necessitates making a financial investment, but if USCIS determines that the company receiving your investment meets the EB-5 program’s eligibility requirements, you, your spouse, and any children under the age of 21 will be issued a “Green Card” granting you permanent residency in the United States.

What are the requirements of EB-5 Visa?

An EB-5 visa applicant must invest at least $800,000 in a Regional Center project located in a high-unemployment or rural area of the United States. When these requirements aren’t met, the minimum eligible investment increases to $1,050,000. At least ten new full-time jobs for residents of the United States must be created for this investment to be considered successful. An investor can rest easy knowing that these new jobs will be created at the right time. To fully permanent residency, the investor must create ten jobs within two years of receiving conditional permanent residency status from the recipient company.
